                                                      দুর্গাপূজায় ফিরে পাওয়া -বন্ধু - ১ম পর্ব 

     রুদ্র ও এশা দুজনই খুব ভাল বন্ধু। একই গ্রামে ওদের বাড়ি। ছোটবেলা থেকে দুজন একই স্কুলে পড়ত। দুজন ই পড়াশুনায় বেশ ভাল ছিল। একসাথে স্কুলে যাওয়া, একসাথে স্কুল থেকে আসা। ওরা এত ভাল বন্ধুছিল যে ওরা দুজন একসাথে থাকলে ওদের মা বাবাদের ও কোন চিন্তা থাকত না। এমনকি ছুটির দিনগুলোতে ও রুদ্র সকাল বেলা এশার বাড়ি চলে আসত। এশার বাবা ছিল স্কুল শিক্ষক মা ছিল গৃহ বধূ। ওরা দুজনে ছুটির দিনে এশার বাবার কাছে কিছুটা পড়াশুনা করে একসাথে খেলা করত। এশার মা ও দুজনকেই খুব ভালবাসত। বিকেলে রুদ্রের মা বাবা এসে এশার মাবাবার সাথে গল্পগুজব করে রাতে রুদ্রকে বাড়ি নিয়ে যেত। রুদ্রের মা বাবা দুজনেই ভাল সরকারি চাকরি করত। রুদ্রের মা বাবা ও এশাকে খুব ভালবাসত। 

       রুদ্রদের বাড়িতে প্রতিবছর দুর্গাপূজা হত। সেই পূজায় রুদ্রদের অনেক আত্মীয়রা আসত দুর্গাপূজায় সামিল হতে। এশার মা বাবা দুজনই রুদ্রদের বাড়ির পূজার দায়িত্ব অনেকটা সামলে নিত। এশার মা বাবা রুদ্রের মা বাবার পাশে থাকায় দুর্গা পূজা নিয়ে রুদ্রের মা বাবার এত চিন্তা থাকত না। রুদ্রের বাবাকে প্রায় সময় কাজের সূত্রে গ্রামের বাইরে যেতে হত। এশার মা বাবা পাশে না থাকলে রুদ্রের মার পক্ষে একা দুর্গাপূজার আয়োজন করা সম্ভব হত না। সবাই মিলে পূজার এই চারটে দিন খুব আনন্দে কাটাত। এশা ও তার মা বাবা যেন রুদ্রের বাড়ির সদস্য হয়ে উঠেছিল। মাঝে মধ্যে রুদ্রের বাবা মজা করে এশা কে বলত তুই বড় হলে তোকে রুদ্রের বউ করে এই বাড়িতে নিয়ে আসব। তাহলে তুই আমাদের কাছেই থাকতে পারবি। ভবিষ্যতে ও তোরা দুজন মিলে আমাদের বাড়ির দুর্গাপূজাকে এইভাবে চালিয়ে নিয়ে যাবি। কিন্তু তখন ওরা ছিল বেশ ছোট। বিয়ের মানেই হয়তো বুঝতে পারত না।

      এইভাবে ওরা একসাথে বড় হয়ে উঠতে লাগল। এশা ও বেশ সুন্দরী হয়ে উঠেছিল। রুদ্র সব সময় ওকে আগলে রাখত। অনেকেই ওদের বন্ধুত্বকে ভাল নজরে দেখত না। তবে এশা ও রুদ্রের মা বাবার ওদের বন্ধুত্ব নিয়ে কোন চিন্তা ছিল না। বরং ওরা ভাল বন্ধু হওয়াতে ওদের মা বাবাদের ও চিন্তা কম ছিল। রুদ্র এশার পাশে থাকাতে অন্য ছেলেরা ও ওকে কিছু বলতে পারত না। অনেকেই আবার ওদের নিয়ে মজা ও করত কিন্তু ওরা এইসব কিছু পাত্তা দিত না। 

      হঠাৎ রুদ্রের বাবাকে চাকরি সূত্রে অন্য জায়গায় চলে যেতে হল। তাই বাধ্য হয়ে তার মা ও ছেলেকে নিয়ে তার বাবার কাছে চলে গেল। রুদ্র কিছুতেই যেতে চাইছিল না কিন্তু কিছু করার নেই। রুদ্রের মা বাবা এশার মা বাবাকে বলে গেল দুর্গা পূজায় ওরা আসবে সবাই মিলে আবার এক সাথে দুর্গা পূজা করবে। এশা ও কখন দুর্গা পূজা আসবে সেই অপেক্ষায় থাকত। 

      পরের বছর দুর্গাপূজার সময় রুদ্ররা আবার গ্রামে ফিরল। সবাই মিলে আবার একসাথে দুর্গাপূজার আনন্দে মেতে উঠল। এশার ও যেন ওদের পেয়ে আনন্দের আর সীমা নেই।এই ভাবে দেখতে দেখতে দুটো বছর কেটে গেল। রুদ্র এখন শহরের ভাল স্কুলে পড়ে। ওরা আবার দশম শ্রেণিতে পড়ে, সামনেই ওদের মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষা তাই রুদ্র এবার খুব ব্যস্ত। তারা খবর পাঠাল এবার দুর্গাপূজায় এর আসতে পারবে না। এশার তা শুনে খুব মন খারাপ হয়ে গেল। এশার মা বাবা ও এবার খুব ছোট করে দুর্গাপূজা করল। 

               মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষায় রুদ্র খুব ভাল রেজাল্ট করে বিজ্ঞান বিভাগে ভর্তি হল। এদিকে এশা ও গ্রামের স্কুলে জীবন বিজ্ঞান নিয়ে ভর্তি হল। এইভাবে চলছিল তাদের পড়াশুনা। রুদ্রের মা বাবা একদিন এশাদের বাড়ি এলো ওদের সাথে দেখা করতে কিন্তু রুদ্র এলো না। রুদ্রকে না দেখতে পেয়ে সেই দিন এশার খুব মন খারাপ হয়েগেছিল। এইভাবে দেখতে দেখতে অনেকদিন কেটে গেল। এশা এবার কলেজে পড়ে। হঠাৎ ..............

English Translation - 

     Rudra and Esha were both very good friends. Their home was in the same village. They went to same school since childhood. Both of them were very good at studying. They were going to school together and also coming from school together. They were such good friends that if they were together, their parents would have no worries. Even on holidays, Rudra used to come to Esha's house in the morning. Esha's father was a school teacher and her mother was a housewife. The two of them used to study together with Esha's father on holidays after that they played together. Esha's mother love both of them very much. In the afternoon, Rudra's parents would come and gossip to Esha's parents and take Rudra home at night. Rudra's parents both had good government jobs. Rudra's father and mother both loved Esha very much.

      Durga Puja was performed every year at Rudra's house. Many relatives of Rudra's used to come to join Durga Puja. Both Esha's parents took care of Durga Puja at Rudra's house.So Rudra's parents were not so worried about Durga Puja. Rudra's father had to go out of the village for work almost all the time. It would not have been possible for Rudra's mother to organize Durga Puja alone without Esha's parents. Everyone spent these four days of Durgapuja together with great joy. In this way Esha and her parents became members of Rudra's house. Sometimes Rudra's father would jokingly tell Esha that when you grow up, I will bring you to this house as Rudra's wife. Then you can stay with us. In the future, Rudra and you will continue our Durga Puja in this way. But then they were quite small. Maybe they didn't understand the meaning of marriage.

     Thus they began to grow together. Esha also became quite beautiful. Rudra always took care her. Many people did not accept their friendship. However, Esha and Rudra's parents had no worries about their friendship. Rather, their parents were very much happy about their friendship. The other boys could not say anything to her as Rudra was by Esha's side. Many people used to make fun of them but they did not pay attention to these things.

    

     Suddenly Rudra's father had to move to another place for work. So he was forced to go to his father with his mother. Rudra didn't want to go anywhere but there was nothing to do. Rudra's mother and father told Esha's mother and father that they would come to Durga Puja and worship Durga together again. Esha used to wait for Durga Puja to come.

    The next year, during the Durga Puja, the Rudras returned to the village. Together they rejoiced in Durga Puja again. Esha was very much happy to meet them. In this way two years went by. Rudra now reads a good school in the city. They are in 10th class, their secondary exams are ahead so Rudra is very busy this time. They sent news that it will not be able to come to Durga Puja this time. Esha was very upset to hear that. Esha's mother and father also celebrated Durga Puja without them.

     Rudra got very good result in the secondary examination and was admitted in the science department. Meanwhile, Esha were admitted in their village school with life sciences. This is how their studies were going on. Rudra's parents came to Esha's house one day to meet them but Rudra did not come. Esha was very upset that day not seeing Rudra. It took a long time. Esha is now in college. Suddenly..............
