          ইচ্ছেরা দিনে রাতে, চাওয়ার নেশায় মাতে মন কি চায় বুঝা যায় না -

                                                                                      নচিকেতা।

                 সত্যি বিচিত্র এই পৃথিবীতে মানুষের মনের ইচ্ছে গুলো ও বিচিত্র। যেমন কখনো ইচ্ছে করে সাদা মেঘের ভেলায় ভেসে গোটা পৃথিবীটা পারি দেওয়ার নেশায় মাততে, পাখি হয়ে স্বাধীন ভাবে আকাশে উড়ে যেতে, ইচ্ছে করে সেই ছোটবেলায় ফিরে যেতে, ইচ্ছে করে সেই ছোটবেলার বন্ধুদের সাথে ঘণ্টার পর ঘণ্টা অ্যাডা মেরে কাটিয়ে দিতে, ইচ্ছে করে সময়ের কাঁটাটাকে ঘুড়িয়ে পেছনে নিয়ে যেতে যাতে জীবনের না পাওয়াগুলোকে আবার সুন্দর করে সাজিয়ে জীবনটা কে আর সুন্দর করতে।

           আবার কারো কারো ইচ্ছে বড় হয়ে ভাল ডাক্তার হওয়ার, কারো ইচ্ছে মন্ত্রী হওয়ার, কেউ আবার হারিয়ে যেতে যায় কোন এক অচেনা জগতে, কেউ আবার নিজের কাছের লোকগুলোকে আঁকড়ে ধরে বাঁচতে চায়। কতশত ইচ্ছে। 

     কিছু কিছু ইচ্ছে সকলের সামনে প্রকাশ করা যায় আবার কিছু ইচ্ছে মনের মধ্যে চাপা পড়ে হারিয়ে যায়। আমাদের এই ছোট জীবনে অসংখ্য ইচ্ছে, ইচ্ছের যে শেষ নাই। অধিকাংশ মানুষই সব কিছু নিজের আয়ত্তে রাখার চেষ্টা করে কিন্তু মনটা কেই নিজের আয়ত্তে রাখতে পারে না। মানুষের এই মনই ইচ্ছের জন্ম দেয়।এই ইচ্ছে নিয়ে কত গায়কের কত গান।

                            তবে মানুষের মনের এই ইচ্ছে গুলো কি সব পূরণ হয়? পৃথিবীতে এমন লোক আছে কিনা আমার জানা নেই যাদের সব ইচ্ছে পূরণ হয়েছে। আমাদের অধিকাংশ ইচ্ছে গুলোই কাঁচের চুড়ির মত ভেঙ্গে আমাদের কোমল হৃদয়ে আঁচড় কাটে। 

          মানুষের মনের ইচ্ছে নামক জিনিসগুলো অদ্ভুত রকমের ভয়ানক হয়। এই ইচ্ছে নামক শব্দটির জন্যে মানুষ আয়নার সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে নিজেকে দেখে নিজেই হাসে, আবার কখনো সকলের আড়ালে রাতের গভীরে দু চোখ থেকে নেমে আসা জলে বালিশের কভার ভেজায়। 

                            মানুষের জীবনকে চালিয়ে নিয়ে যেতে গেলে ইচ্ছের দরকার। ইচ্ছে ছাড়া মানুষ কি করে স্বপ্ন দেখবে? স্বপ্ন না দেখলে মানুষ কিসের আশায় বাঁচবে? হয়ত মনে তীব্র ইচ্ছে শক্তি ও চেষ্টা থাকলে ইচ্ছে গুলো ও হয়ত একে একে পূরণ হবে। আর সেই ইচ্ছে পূরণের আনন্দে হয়ত জীবনের দুঃখ কষ্ট গুলো ও সব ধুয়ে যাবে।

                            ইচ্ছে ছাড়া যেমন আমরা বাঁচতে পারি না তেমনি কিছু কিছু ইচ্ছে আছে যেগুলো বাস্তবে পূরণ হওয়া খুব কঠিন। সেই ইচ্ছে গুলো হয়ত মনের মধ্যে চাপা পরে একদিন হারিয়ে যাবে বা ইচ্ছে হয়েই মনের মধ্যে থেকে যাবে।তবে কিছু কিছু অপূর্ণ ইচ্ছে সকলের সামনে প্রকাশ না করে মনের মধ্যে লুকিয়ে রাখলেও সেই অপূর্ণতাতেই অদ্ভুত ভাল লাগা কাজ করে। আর এই ভাল লাগাকে কাজে লাগিয়ে হয়ত জীবন কাটানো অনেক সহজ হয়ে যায়।

তবে আমাদের ইচ্ছে পূরণের দায়িত্ব কিন্তু আমাদের। আমাদের অসীম ইচ্ছে শক্তি ও চেষ্টায় ও ভগবানের কৃপায় একদিন না একদিন কোন অপূর্ণ ভাল ইচ্ছে পূর্ণ হতে বাধ্য।

তাই চল আজ সবাই আমাদের ইচ্ছে শক্তিকে জাগিয়ে মনের অপূর্ণ ইচ্ছেগুলোকে পূরণ করার লক্ষ্যে এগিয়ে যাই।

          In this world, the desires of the human mind are also diverse. Like ever floating on a white cloud raft, intoxicated by the whole world, flying like a bird, flying freely in the sky, wanting to go back to that childhood, spending hours and hours with those childhood friends, wanting to turn the thorns of time behind. To take it so that the things that are not found in life can be re-arranged to make life more beautiful.

        Someone wishes to grow up to be a good doctor, someone wishes to be a minister, someone wishes to get lost in an unknown world, someone wishes to live with the people around him. There are so many wishes.

        Some wishes can be expressed in front of everyone and some wishes are lost after being suppressed in the mind. In this short time of life, there are innumerable wishes, wishes that have no end. Most people try to control everything but no one can control their mind. Our mind creates our desires. Many songs are created by the singers with this desire.

      But are all these wishes of the human mind fulfilled? I don't know if there are people in the world whose all wishes have been fulfilled. Most of our wishes break like glass bangles and scratch our tender hearts.

      Wishes of the human mind are strangely terrible. People smile when they see themselves standing in front of a mirror for their terrible wishes, and sometimes they cry over spilt milk.

      Wishes are needed to carry on human life. How can people dream without desire? If people can not dream there is no imagination, if no imagination no life. Maybe if there is intense will power and effort in the mind, the wishes will be fulfilled one by one and in that process our emotions will also wash away.

    Just as we cannot live without wishes, but there are some wishes that are very difficult to fulfill in reality. Those wishes may be lost in the mind one day after being suppressed in the mind or will remain in the mind as a wish and using this good feeling may make life much easier.

    But it is our responsibility to fulfill our wishes. Our wishes  is bound to be fulfilled one day by our strong willpower and effort and grace of God.

   So today let us all awaken our will power and move forward to fulfill the unfulfilled wishes of our mind.
