অভিষেক বলল কিছু তো বল অলিভিয়া তখন ভাঙ্গা ভাঙ্গা গলায় বলল সেইদিন তো আমি নীরব দর্শক ছিলাম আজ ও নীরব থাকি যা বলার তুমি বল। এমন সময় ফোনটা কেটে গেল।......................

অভিষেক অনেক চেষ্টা করেও লাগাতে পারল না। আর এই দিকে অলিভিয়া ভাবতে লাগল অভিষেক আবার কিছু মজা করছে না তো? কিন্তু সেই দিন অলিভিয়া খুব পরিশ্রান্ত হয়ে পড়েছিল তাই ভাবতে ভাবতে ঘুমিয়ে পড়ল। পরেরদিন ঘুম থেকে উঠে অলিভিয়া অফিস গেল। কিন্তু অভিষেক সারারাত ঘুমোতে পারেনি। 

   শুধু ভাবছিল অলিভিয়া আগের মতো আবার ভুল বুঝবে না তো। অভিষেক ও পরের দিন অফিস গেল। কাজের ফাঁকে সে অলিভিয়ার ফোনে কয়েকবার রিং করল কিন্তু অলিভিয়া ফোনটা তোলতে পারল না। সে আজ ও অফিসের কাজে খুব ব্যস্ত। অভিষেক ভাবছিল সে অলিভিয়ার কাছে এসে সব কিছু বললে সে আর রাগ করে থাকতে পারবে না। 

            এদিকে অলিভিয়া ঠিক করল অভিষেককে আর সুযোগ করে দেবে না। সে তাই ফোন আর ধরবে না। এমন সময় একটা ম্যাসেজ এল ফোন টা একবার তোল। তোমার সাথে কথা আছে। কাল অনেক চেষ্টার পর ও ফোনটা লাগল না ভুল বুঝনা। অলিভিয়া রাতের খাবার সেরে যেই ফোনটা হাতে নিল তখনি ফোনটা বেজে উঠল।

 অলিভিয়া ফোনটা তুলেই বলল যা বলার বল ঘুম পেয়েছে। অভিষেক বুঝতে পারল অলিভিয়ার রাগ হয়েছে। অভিষেক একটু চুপ করে থেকে বলল তোমার বন্ধুরা যেমন তুমি রাগ করলে মাথায় জল দিয়ে রাগ কমাত আজ ও এইভাবে রাগ কমাতে আসব নাকি? 😀

            অলিভিয়া এই কথা শুনে বলল তোমার এখন ও মনে আছে। অভিষেক বলল আমি তো কিছু ভুলিনি। আসলে ভুলতে চাইনি।

       অলিভিয়া ঃআমি তো চেয়েছি তোমাকে ভুলতে।

      অভিষেক ঃভুলতে পেরেছ কি?

      অলিভিয়া ঃ চেষ্টা করেছি কিন্তু পারিনি। নিজের কাছে হেরে গেছি। কাল রাতে যখন তোমার ফোন টা কেটে গেল ভাবলাম তুমি হয়ত আবার মজা করতে আমাকে ফোন করেছ।  

     অভিষেক ঃ তুমি আমাকে বিশ্বাস কর না তাই না?

     অলিভিয়া ঃ জানি না। তবে এটা জানি শত চেষ্টা করে ও ভুলতে পারিনি। তোমার মনে পরে সেই দিন তুমি আমার সাথে কেমন ব্যবহার করেছিলে? 

     অভিষেক ঃ সেইদিন ইচ্ছাকৃত কিছু করিনি।মনে পড়ে কত তোমার পেছন পেছন ঘুরেছি। ভাবতাম হয়ত তুমি ও আমাকে ভালবাস কিন্তু তুমি যখন বললে ভাল করে পড়াশোনা করে নিজেকে আমার উপযুক্ত করে বাবার কাছে গিয়ে বলার সাহস রাখ তারপর আমার সাথে কথা বলতে এসো। তখন ভেবেছিলাম হয়ত তুমি আমাকে ভালবাস না তাই রাগে ও দুঃখে তোমার কাছ থেকে অনেক দুরে চলে এসেছিলাম। তবে পরে যখন শুনেছি তুমি আমাকে পাগলের মতো খুঁজেছ তখন মনে হয়েছিল একবার ফিরে যাই কিন্তু তোমাকে পেতে হলে যে আমাকে যোগ্যতা অর্জন করতে হত। তাই ঠিক করলাম যদি কোন দিন তোমাকে ভাল রাখার মতো যোগ্যতা অর্জন করতে পারি তবেই তোমার কাছে আসব। আমি একটা ভাল চাকরি পেয়েছি একমাস হল। তোমার বান্ধবীর কাছে খবর পেলাম তুমি ও চাকরি সূত্রে একা একাই থাক তাই মনে অনেক সাহস নিয়ে তোমাকে ফোন করে ফেললাম। ভাবলাম আজ ও হয়ত তুমি আমার অপেক্ষায় আছ। 

     অলিভিয়া ঃ তোমাকে সেই দিন কষ্ট দিতে আমি এই কথা গুলো বলিনি। তুমি তো আমার সব কথা না শুনে ই চলে গেছিলে। আমি সেইদিন বলতে চেয়েছিলাম বাবা মা যদি সেই দিন আমাদের কথা শুনত আমার পড়াশুনা বন্ধ করে বিয়ে দিয়ে দিত তুমি যদি ভাল চাকরি না কর তবে মাবাবা তোমার সাথে আমার বিয়েতে কোন দিন মত দেবে না। তখন তো সবই যাবে। কিন্তু তুমি সেইদিন আমাকে ভুল বুঝে আমাকে ছেড়ে চলে গেলে আমার কথা একবার ও ভাবনি বল। আমি ভেবেছিলাম তুমি মজা করতে আমার কাছে এসেছিলে যখন দেখলে পারবে না চলে গেলে।

        অভিষেক ঃনা এমন নয়। কাল তোমার ফোন টা কেটে যাওয়ার পর সারারাত চেষ্টা করেছি কিন্তু ফোনটা লাগল না একবার ভাবলাম হয়ত তোমাকে আবার হারিয়ে ফেললাম। তুমি হয়ত আমার সাথে আর কথা বলবে না। 

      অলিভিয়া ঃ চল ঘুমিয়ে পর রাত যে শেষের পথে এবার তোমার শরীর খারাপ হয়ে যাবে। 

      অভিষেক ঃ না ঘুমব না। তোমার ঘুম পেয়েছে?

      অলিভিয়া ঃ মনে হচ্ছে সময়টা এখানে থেমে যাক। আর যে তোমাকে হারাতে চাই না। অভিষেক এত দেরি কেন করলে জান বাবা এইদিকে আমার বিয়ে ঠিক করবে বলে আমাকে বাড়ি যেতে বলেছে।

      অভিষেক ঃ ভাল হল বিয়ে করে নাও আমাকে ভুলে যাও হয়ত তোমাকে ও আরও অনেক ভালভাসবে।

      অলিভিয়া ঃঃ জানি না ভাল রাখবে কিনা? কিন্তু আমি যে আর কাউকে ভালবাসতে পারব না।

       অভিষেক ঃ আমি সব জানি তোমার বান্ধবীর কাছে সব শুনেছি তাই ঠিক করেছি কাল ই আমি এসে তোমাকে সাথে করে নিয়ে তোমার বাবার কাছে যাব। 

      অলিভিয়া ঃ তোমার বাবা মা? ওরা মেনে নেবে?

      অভিষেক ঃ কাল বাবা যাবে তোমার বাবার সাথে কথা বলতে। 

      অলিভিয়া ঃ অভিষেক মনে হচ্ছে স্বপ্ন দেখচ্ছি কাল ভোর হতে হতে স্বপ্ন ভেঙ্গে যাবে নাত। অলিভিয়ার দুচোখ থেকে অঝরে জল ঝরচ্ছে। এত বছর পর অভিষেককে পেয়ে ওর যে অনেক কিছু বলার ছিল কিন্তু কিছুই বলতে পারছে না।

      অভিষেক ঃ কি হল কাঁদছ নাকি। আর কাঁদতে হবে না। আমি তো ফিরে এসেছি। শুন তোমার বাবা যদি সেই ছেলের সাথে তোমার বিয়ে ঠিক করে দেয় আমাকে যদি বারণ করে দেয় কি করবে?

       অলিভিয়া ঃ আর মজা কর না সকাল হয়ে গেল। বাইরে আলো দেখা যাচ্ছে। চল এবার রাখি। 

            অলিভিয়া সকাল বেলা তৈরি হয়ে অফিসে গেল। দুপর বেলা একজন এসে ওকে বলল তুর সাথে কে একজন দেখা করতে এসেছে। অলিভিয়া ভাবছে কে তার সাথে দেখা করতে আসবে অভিষেক তো এত তাড়াতাড়ি আসতে পারবে না। সে এসে দেখল অভিষেক দাঁড়িয়ে আছে।

   English Translation 

              Again Abhishek said to Olivia say something Olivia then she said in a broken voice, that day I was a silent spectator today also now you tell me..................

            Abhishek could not connect the call. Olivia started thinking that Abhishek is not having any fun again? But that day Olivia was very tired so she fell asleep. Olivia woke up the next day and went to the office. But Abhishek could not sleep all night. Abhishek just thought Olivia would not misunderstand like before. 

Abhishek went to the office the next day. In between work, he rang Olivia's phone a few times but Olivia couldn't pick up the phone. She is very busy today in the office. Abhishek thought that if he came to Olivia and told her everything, she would not be angry anymore.

         Meanwhile, Olivia decided not to give Abhishek another chance. So she won't pick up the phone anymore. At that time, she saw a message please pick up the phone. I want to talk with you. After many attempts yesterday night I did not connect my phone and please do not misunderstand me. 

The phone rang as soon as Olivia picked up dinner. Olivia picked up the phone and said that she had fallen asleep. Abhishek realizes Olivia is angry. Abhishek remained silent for a while and said, "Like your friends, if you are angry, reduce the anger with water on your head, today will I come to reduce the anger ?"

       Olivia heard this said to Abhishek do you remember that?. Abhishek said I have not forgotten anything. Didn't really want to forget.

        Olivia: I wanted to forget you. 

        Abhishek: - Did you forget?  

       Olivia: I tried but couldn't. I lost to myself. Last night when your phone rang I thought you might call me again to have fun.  

        Abhishek: Still now you don't believe me.

        Olivia: I don't know. But I tried but could not forget. Do you remember how you treated me that day?

        Abhishek: I didn't do anything intentionally that day. I remember how much I followed you. I thought maybe you love me too, but when you said to me that make yourself suitable for me, have the courage to go to my father and then come and talk to me. Then I thought maybe you don't love me so I walked away from you in anger and sadness. 

But later when I heard you were looking for me like crazy I thought I would go back once but to get you I had to qualify. So I decided that if I make myself suitable for you then I will come back. It's been a month since I got a good job. I got the news from your friend you also got a job and stay alone. so I thought today maybe you are waiting for me and courage to call you.

        Olivia: I didn't say these things to hurt you that day. You left without listening to me. I wanted to say that day, if my parents listened about us that day, they would stop my studies and marry me. If you don't do a good job, my parents will never agree with you in my marriage. Then everything will go. But you misunderstood me and left me that day, don't even think about me. I thought you came to me for fun when you can't leave me.

        Abhishek:  Una is not like that. I tried all night but some network issue I didn't connect the phone. Once I thought maybe I lost you again. You may not talk to me anymore.

        Olivia:  Let's go to sleep.Abhishek: No, I will not sleep. Did you sleep?

        Olivia: If let the time stop here I don't want to lose you. But Abhishek you are so late, my father has told me to go home to fix my marriage.

        Abhishek: It's better to get married. Forget me. Maybe he will love you many more. Olivia: I don't know if it will be good. But I can't love anyone else.

       Abhishek: I know everything, I heard everything from your friend, so I decided to come tomorrow and go with you to your father.

        Olivia: Your parents? Will they agree?

        Abhishek: Tomorrow my father will go to talk to your father.

       Olivia: Abhishek It seems that I am dreaming but my dream will be broken by dawn tomorrow. Tears came out from Olivia's eyes. After so many years of getting 

      Abhishek:  He had a lot to say but could not say anything.

      Abhishek: why are you crying? No more crying. I'm back. Listen, what will you do if your father fixes your marriage with that boy and forbids me?

       Olivia: Don't have fun anymore. It's morning. Let's keep it. Olivia got ready in the morning and went to the office. At noon someone came and told her who had come to see you. Olivia wonders who will come to see her. Abhishek will not be able to come so soon. She came and saw Abhishek standing.
