যেদিন রিয়া ও রোহণের বিয়ে ঠিক হল সেই রাতেরাজ ঘুমতে পারেনি এই ভেবে রিয়া রোহণকে বিয়ে করে সুখী হবে তো? কিন্তু রাজ কিছু বলতে পারল না পাছে তাদের বন্ধুত্ব না খারাপ হয়ে যায়। ............।
তারপরদিন রোহণ অফিসে গিয়ে জানতে পারল ওর দেশের বাইরে যাওয়ার একটা ভাল সুযোগ এসেছে। এই সপ্তাহের মধ্য তাকে যেতে হবে একবছরের জন্য। রোহণ রিয়াকে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে জানালো। রিয়া বুঝতে পারল রোহণের মনের অবস্থা। রিয়া রোহণকে বলল বিয়ে না হয় এক বছর পরে হবে। রোহণ রিয়ার কথা শোনে যেন স্বস্তির নিশ্বাস ফেলল। সে একবার ও রিয়ার কথা ভাবল না। রোহণ চলে যাওয়ার পর রিয়া কেমন যেন চুপচাপ হয়ে গেছিল।
রোহণ সেখানে গিয়ে কাজে এত ব্যস্ত হয়ে পড়েছে যে সে রিয়াকে ফোন করার সময় ও পেত না। রিয়া ফোন করলেও খুব কম কথাই হত। কিছুদিন এমন কাটার পর রিয়া ও বিরক্ত হয়ে উঠল। ফোন করলেই কথার চেয়ে ঝগড়া বেশি হত। তবে ঝগড়া হলে রিয়া রোহণকে ফোন করত না বা ফোন এলেও ধরতে চাইত না। তখন রোহণ কাজের ফাঁকে ফাঁকে রিয়াকে ফোন ও ইমজি দিয়ে ব্ল্যাংক মেসেজ করত😠😛😰🙏। রোহণের এইসব পাগলামো দেখে রিয়া রাগ ভুলে আবার রোহণের সাথে কথা বলত। দেখতে দেখতে এক বছর কেটে গেল। রোহণ ফিরে এসে রিয়েকে বিয়ে করল। রিয়ার বিয়ের সব কাজে রাজ রিয়ার মা বাবাকে সাহায়্য করেছিল।
বিয়ের পর রিয়া ও রোহণের বেশ ভালই কাটছিল। এবার রিয়া ও রোহণ রাজকে বিয়ে করানোর জন্য উঠে পরে লেগেছিল। এদিয়ে রিয়ার মা বাবার কিছু দরকার হলে রাজ নিজেই সব সামলে নিত রিয়াকে জানতে ও দিত না। রাজ রিয়ার মা বাবার কাছাকাছি ছিল বলে রিয়া ও বাবা মা কে নিয়ে নিশ্চিন্তে থাকত। এদিকে রোহণ ছিল একটু অন্য রকম চরিত্রের। রোহণ সংসারের সব ভাবনা চিন্তা রিয়ার উপর ছেড়ে নিজে শুধু কাজ নিয়েই ব্যস্ত থাকত। দেখতে দেখতে দশ মাস কেটে গেল।
রোহণ এবার এই চাকরি ছেড়ে অন্য কম্পানির চাকরিতে যোগ দিল। রোহণকে এবার তিন চার বছরের জন্যে দেশের বাইরে যেতে হবে। রোহণের কথা মত রিয়া ও নিজের চাকরিটা ছেড়ে রোহণের সাথে চলে গেল। কিন্তু রিয়া ব্যাপারটা মন থেকে মানতে পারছিল না। এবার রোহণের মা বাবার ও খুব একটা ইচ্ছে ছিল না। কিন্তু ছেলের ইচ্ছের বিরুদ্ধে ওরা ও কিছু বলল না।
রোহণ সেখানে রিয়াকে একটু ও সময় দিতে পারত না। যে মেয়ে সারা দিন কাজে ব্যস্ত থাকত আজ একা একা ঘরে বসে সময় কাটতে চায় না মাঝে মধ্যে রাজের সাথে মেসেঞ্জার এ কথা হয়। এইভাবেই চলছিল। হঠাৎ রোহণের মার খুব শরীর খারাপ হল কিন্তু রোহণ ছুটির ব্যবস্তা করতে পারল না। তাই রিয়াকে পাঠিয়ে দিল। রিয়ার তার শাশুড়িকে সুস্থ করে আবার ফিরে যাওয়ার কথা ছিল। কিন্তু রিয়া আর ফিরে গেল না। সে এবার চাকরির চেষ্টা করতে লাগল। রাজ রিয়াকে অনেক বোঝানোর চেষ্টা করল কিন্তু রিয়া আর কারো কথা শুনতে রাজী ছিল না।
এদিকে রোহণ রিয়ার এই কথা শুনে খুব রেগে গেল। রিয়া ও রোহণের অনেকদিন কথা বন্ধ ছিল। দুমাস পর রিয়া একটা চাকরি পেল রাজের অফিসে। রিয়া রোহণকে জানাল তার চাকরির কথা, সেই দিন রোহণ রাজের উপর ও খুব রেগে গিয়ে রাজকে ফোন করে অনেক কথা শুনিয়ে দিল। রাজ খুব ঠাণ্ডা মাথার ছেলে। রাজ যদি ও জানত রিয়ার চাকরির পেছনে তার কোন হাত নেই তবু সে রোহণের মনের অবস্থা ভেবে চুপ ছিল।
